Birth-Charlotte Relief Strategy To Aid Hurricane "Katrina" Evacuees

The mission of New Birth-Charlotte is to lovingly advance the
Kingdom of God by making mature disciples who will infiltrate
every arena of our given territories, including our minds, and
significantly bring to fruition, through demonstrations, present
day manifestations of God in all we have been called to put
our hands to.
The generosity and passionate concern of New Birth-Charlotte
is worthy of commendation and is valued beyond expression. You
are a great and wealthy people. The seeds that you have sown
and continually sow are creating tremendous opportunities for
the Kingdom of God to manifest in the earth. Without a doubt,
we share the same desire which is that our Heavenly Father would
be pleased with our offerings in the wake of this crisis. In
fact, by His own confession, Jesus affirms His approval of our
demonstrations of love in Matthew 25:40 saying "…Assuredly,
I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of
these, My brethren, you did it to me."
To the credibility of our visionary, we are postured to witness
the impact the mission statement of New Birth-Charlotte will
have on this region, this nation and even internationally. With
this mission as the pivotal platform, specific interventions
have been recommended for New Birth that will activate the "ministry
of the saints" in response to Hurricane "Katrina". Outlined
below are the various capacities in which you are being called
upon as the Joseph Generation to preserve life (Genesis
45:5.) Inasmuch grace has been given you, you are encouraged
to put your hands to the work of this ministry by assuming personal
responsibility as well as corporate accountability.
As Pastor prefaced in his message, we have come to the end of
pulpit-centered ministry.
NOW is the season appointed to you! Stir the gifts of God inside
of you and distribute what you have received to the multitudes
(Luke 9:10-17.) Your preparation and process has crescendoed
to this momentous occasion for you to realize and manifest the
 measure
of salt and light that is inside of you. This is no longer the
day of the pulpit, but it is the Year of the Servant.
It's Time To Rule!
National Intervention
From the general funds of the church, Pastor Murphy designated
an initial offering of $10,000 to the national efforts of select,
participating ministries throughout the nation. This campaign
will combine financial seed offerings from churches throughout
the nation, which will culminate in excess of a $1 million endowment
to provide relief to evacuees. Please pray for the obedience
and generosity of churches throughout the nation. Note:
as a result of this offering, Pastor Murphy has postponed "Amaziah
2005" until a later date to ensure, to the extent possible,
that available funds are freed up to secure a future for these
victims.
